AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) -- Police in Augusta say a man confessed to breaking a window at a Planned Parenthood clinic.
The Augusta Chronicle reports ( http://bit.ly/187Iizy ) that 54-year-old Odus Vaden McCutcheon faces a felony charge second degree criminal damage to property. It wasn't immediately clear whether he had a lawyer.
Richmond County sheriff's deputies responded to a tripped burglar alarm at Planned Parenthood just before 10 a.m. Saturday. The front door and right-side glass had been broken.
Deputies got a call about an hour later from a bail bonds service. An employee there told police McCutcheon came in and said he had committed a crime and asked the employee to call police.
Authorities say McCutcheon told deputies he broke the front window because the people at Planned Parenthood were "killing babies."
