ATLANTA -- Georgia Tech has signed one of the top guard prospects in the state of Georgia and a center from Texas to play for the Yellow Jackets.
Coach Brian Gregory said Wednesday that guard Tadric Jackson and 6-foot-10 center Ben Lammers signed national letters of intent.
Gregory says he began targeting the 6-foot-2 Jackson, from Tift County, as his top guard priority for the class of 2014 since he took over as coach three years ago. Jackson averaged 14.5 points per game last season. He also plays for the Georgia Stars AAU team.
Gregory says Jackson is "a complete guard."
Lammers, from Alamo Heights High School in San Antonio, Texas, is rated the state's No. 10 prospect by Texashoops.com. He averaged 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4.5 blocks as a junior.
