GAINESVILLE - Deputy Chance Brown has been named Officer of the Year by the Hall County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) Citizens Academy.
Runners up were Jeremy Grindle, George Knapp and John Morgan.
Brown received the recognition at a ceremony this past Thursday night at the Hall County Courthouse.
