1) Why are you running for this office?<br />

I am a member of the community. I really like our small town of Clermont and want to see the town be a great place to live while maintaining that Mayberry feeling. I bought my first house in Clermont and really like what Clermont, Ga., has to offer. I feel that there are some opportunities for a more modern approach to add value while maintaining that small town Mayberry effect.<br />

2) Is this the first time you have run for political office? If "no," please explain.<br />

Yes and it will not be the last. I plan on being able to add value to our great town of Clermont, Ga.<br />

3) What qualifications for the office do you bring to the campaign?<br />
<br />
I am a registered voter and maintain a residence in the city limits. I am a concerned citizen that will make decisions for what is best for the community and not for my personal benefit. <br />

4) What do you see as the biggest concern/issue facing the city of Clermont?<br />

I think Clermont has the opportunity to bring new business to some empty commercial property. This would allow Clermont to have more revenue without new construction. <br />

5) Are there any specific goals you would like to accomplish if you are elected?<br />

My goals are to keep or lower taxes. But first, I feel that the citizens of Clermont, Ga., need to know and understand what their taxes are paying for. So, I guess my first goal is to learn and understand the budget.<br />
