1) Why are you running for this office? <br />
<br />
I want to continue serving as mayor because I have a vision for Flowery Branch to be the economic center and residential destination of northeast Georgia.<br />

2) Is this first time you have run for political office? <br />
<br />
No. Prior to serving as Mayor, I was elected to the Flowery Branch City Council.<br />
<br />
3) What qualifications for the office do you bring to the campaign? <br />
<br />
I am an effective leader who brings consensus to the council. We have been able to move Flowery Branch in a positive direction under my leadership and I am proud of our accomplishments. We have implemented online bill pay for water and garbage services, purchased six new police vehicles, installed three new weather sirens and have created a plan for downtown revitalization. All of these were done without a millage rate increase.<br />

4) What do you see as the biggest concern/issue facing the city of Flowery Branch? <br />
<br />
The biggest issue facing Flowery Branch is building an infrastructure that supports our current population as well as future growth. We must work to improve traffic congestion along Spout Springs Road so that our economy continues to expand.<br />

5) Are there any specific goals you would like to accomplish if you are elected? And, please explain your answer. <br />
<br />
As Mayor, I want to continue to provide efficient city services at a low tax rate while maintaining a high quality of life and a friendly business atmosphere.
