GAINESVILLE -- When every facet of your team scores, you know things are going pretty well for you.
Chestatee football coach Stan Luttrell saw just that on Friday, as his War Eagles scored on offense, defense and special teams in a 48-7 win over Johnson in Gainesville.
Chestatee running back Zac Cheshire continued his strong season, getting back into the end zone, while Blake Buffington, Tray Bryant and and Nick Beard also put up touchdowns for the War Eagles (4-1), who claimed their fourth straight victory.
"It was a great team victory," Luttrell said. "The more they play together, and the more they win together, the better they will be in the long run. We've come back from that adversity early this season and are really showing something right now."
Chestatee's defense made its presence known as well, including a Bryant hit that jarred the ball loose from Johnson and allowed Khalil Cantrell to scoop the fumble and score.
Cody Humphries also scored for Chestatee, pouncing on a blocked punt.
Chestatee will take on Walnut Grove next week.
