HELEN -- The North Hall boys cross country team won the Mountain Invitational at Unicoi State Park Thursday.
The Trojans finished with 55 points, paced by Bryce Schuebert, who won the individual event with a time of 16:15.2. Quintin Miles was third overall for North Hall.
The Lakeview Academy boys finished seventh, led by Dustin Snyder, who finished fourth overall for the Lions. The Lions are currently ranked fourth in Class A.
The top finisher for the North Hall girls was Makayla Ellis with a ninth-place finish.
White County's Jenna Gearing, the reigning Class AAA state champion, set a new course record at Unicoi for all girls with a time of 18:38.0.
The Lakeview girls finished 20th overall.
