FLOWERY BRANCH - Flowery Branch High School's 2nd Annual GOLD OUT football game benefitting CURE Childhood Cancer is this Friday.

After raising over $4,000 at last year's event, FBHS's Peer Leadership student group will again be decorating the stadium and selling gold t-shirts at Friday's game against Apalachee High School in hopes of raising even more awareness and support for CURE.
Teacher Lauren Howell, who is organizing the event alongside the students, first began working with the organization after her son Liam was born with cancer in August 2007.
