CLEVELAND -- White County took a three-point lead into the fourth qaurter and held on down the stretch to beat Banks County 55-53 Tuesday night for its first Region 7-AAA win.
Dalton Whitfield scored seven points and pulled down a career-high 15 rebounds to lead the Warriors, who snapped a four-game losing streak.
Eddie Hurst had 11 points and Trey Thomas added nine for White County (6-9, 1-4 Region 7-AAA).
Banks County fell to 4-10, 0-5 in region play.
The Warriors will travel to East Hall on Friday.
