JEFFERSON -- Jefferson will receive a first-round bye in the Region 8-AA softball tournament beginning later this week.
The Lady Dragons will play Social Circle on Saturday in the second round. Game 1 of Saturday's action will begin at 1 p.m. and Game # will be at 3 p.m.
If Jefferson wins both games, the Lady Dragons will play on October 4 for first place in the region heading into the State Playoffs.
If the Lady Dragons split the two games on Saturday, they will play at Jefferson on Monday against a yet-to-be-determined opponent.
