CLARKSVILLE -- The North Georgia women's cross country team competed in their third meet of the season Saturday morning, traveling to the Mercer Run Fit Sports Invitational and finished 10th in the 19-team meet.
Emily Beusse once again paced the way for North Georgia, cruising home ninth overall in a time of 19:51. Meagan Anstett was second for the Saints, finishing 38th in a time of 21:18.
Sallie Davis (22:18), Karley Barcus (22:28) and Dottie Kellogg (22:36) rounded out the top-five for the Saints.
Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) claimed the top two individual finishes with the winner, M. Novak, coming home in a time of 19:03, but it was Columbus State claiming the team crown by 18 points over Georgia College.
