JEFFERSON -- Jefferson snapped a two-game losing streak and opened its Region 8B-AA schedule with a 15-0, three-inning rout of Greene County Tuesday at home.
Morgan McKinney had a solid game tossing a complete-game, no-hitter with seven strikeouts and also added two hits, including a two-run home run as part of an 11-run first inning for the Lady Dragons. She finished with four RBI for the game.
Lindsey Miles also added a two-run home run in the first inning. Ashley Boyd had two hits and Emily Dufty, Savannah Snapp, Cason Anderson, and Meagan Faulkner had one hit each for Jefferson. Miles and Anderson had two RBI each and Dufty and Snapp had one each for the Lady Dragons.
