tATLANTA - Georgia voters only have a few more hours to cast an early ballot ahead of Tuesday's primary election.
Early voting in Georgia opened July 9 and voters were allowed for the first time to vote on a Saturday under new election rules approved earlier this year by the Legislature.
Up for election are lawmakers in the General Assembly, members of the U.S. House of Representatives, state utility regulators, prosecutors and judges. Scores of local offices around the state are also on the line, along with the transportation sales tax, or T-SPLOST, and other issues.
