JEGS Pro Late Models 50 set for Wednesday at GMP

JEFFERSON -- The JEGS Pro Late Models 50 is set for Wednesday at Gresham Motorsports Park in Jefferson.

The race represents the second Wednesday night race of the year to take place on the half-mile oval. Pro Late Model drivers will compete in the JEGS Pro Late Model 50, a 50-lap race, for the purse and trophy. Mini Stocks, Sportsman, Renegades, Trucks and Outlaw Late Models will take to the track first for action packed racing of their own.

"I am excited to have JEGS sponsor our Wednesday night event here, at GMP," said GMP General Manager, Dan Elliott. "JEGS has always been well known and respected throughout the drag racing community and to have them involved in circle track racing is huge. I am proud to add JEGS to our GMP family."

GMP said via a press release that it will do everything possible to have the races over by 10:30 p.m. The schedule is subject to change due to the course of the night's events.

Ticket gates will open at 5 p.m. Wednesday with a short opening ceremony to begin at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $17 for seniors and free for kids 12-and-under.
