Falcons sign PK Eric Folk

FLOWERY BRANCH -- The Atlanta Falcons announced Tuesday that they have signed kicker Erik Folk.

Folk, 5-foot-11, 185 pounds, served as the University of Washington's placekicker for each of the last three seasons. He earned honora ble mention Academic All-PAC-12 and finished his college career with a school record string of 124 for 124 on PAT attempts. Folk ranks fourth on the Huskies all-time list with 42 made field goals and his 242 points rank fifth. He was a semi-finalist for the Lou Groza Award in 2011.
