Missing Floyd Co. couple found in Ala.

ROME - An elderly Floyd County couple last heard from Saturday night has been found in two different locations in Alabama.

The Rome News-Tribune is reporting that Virgil Haney, 90, was located in Jefferson County, AL while his 83-year-old wife Marie was found in Cullman, AL.

Initial reports indicated the Haneys left their home in Rome Saturday at 8:00 a.m. heading for Dawsonville. A family member last spoke with the Haneys Saturday at 11:00 p.m.

Authorities have not released further details on where the Haneys have been all weekend.
