GAINESVILLE - Peach State Bank & Trust has once again claimed the coveted 2012 Miss Relay Hall County crown, one of the most popular fundraising segments incorporated into the annual Relay for Life event benefitting the American Cancer Society.

At Relay for Life on Friday, June 1 at Road Atlanta, Clifton "Love" Hastings and Wesley "Peaches" Martin entered the stage and danced up a storm, according to the bank's team members. At the end of the night, the Peach State Bank team reigned again.

Both Hastings and Martin are directors at the bank. In the past years, several of the bank's directors have entered and won, including Peach State President Ron Quinn and Chairman of the Board Bill House.

Hastings is a cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Martin is CEO/CFO of Jake Martin & Sons Contractors, Inc.

This year's Relay for Life event had a total 101 teams from Gainesville and Hall County and raised a total of $364,125.
