MOUNTAIN CITY - A Saturday morning accident in Rabun County proves deadly for a South Carolina man.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, the accident occurred around 9:45 Saturday morning at the intersection of Page Road and Ga. Hwy. 15. Reports state William T. Martin of Duncan, South Carolina turned into the path of a Nissan Exterra driven by 22 year-old Richard Buster Justus of Rabun Gap. The nissan struck Martin's Ford truck on the driver side causing it to overturn.
Martin, 63, died at the scene. His passenger, Claudia Martin, along with Justus were taken to Mountain Lakes Hospital for treatment.
