ATLANTA - The new ZF Industries wind turbine plant in South Hall, which opened last fall, plans to add 100 job, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
The report says the added workers are needed to meet a a "surge in demand for wind turbines."
"The opening of this plant represents a $98 million investment in construction and equipment," Elizabeth Umberson, President of ZF Windpower said at the opening ceremony September 27, "and the best thing yet: 250 new jobs for Gainesville, Georgia." (See earlier story.)
The 250,000-square-foot ZF Wind Power plant is located on Calvery Church Road, and currently employs 150 people.
