Yonah Mountain Vineyards celebrating 3rd anniversary

SAUTEE-NACOOCHEE - Yonah Mountain Vineyards, one of Georgia's newest wineries, is celebrating its third anniversary with a full day of wine specials and an evening of live music Saturday, May 26.

Wine specials will be offered in the tasting room in Sautee-Nacoochee, including tastings of the 2006 Yonah Mountain Vineyards Genesis, a Bordeaux-style blend, and the Serenity Cellars Dolce Bello, a chocolate port-style wine. Discounts on wine by the glass will be offered as well as special tastings of library wines to be announced.

From 6:00-9:00, Wine Song presents Olde Dawg, billed as wine country's finest Americana band, at the Sautee Village Pavilion. Olde Dawg features veteran road warriors Tom Conner, Bob Giannoni, Frank Epps, Steve "Catfish" Ahlquist, and George Calhoon. Admission to the concert if free.

Also, Yonah Mountain Vineyards' popular Tour de la Cave & Barrel Sampling will be offered at noon. Reservations and prepayment are required.

The Yonah Mountain Vineyards tasting room located at Sautee Village, 2454 Highway 17 in Sautee, opened in May 2009.
