GAINESVILLE - The Gainesville Elks Lodge is throwing its doors open to the public for a day of festivities on Memorial DAy.<br />

Things get started at 1:00 and continue until 7:00.<br />
<br />
The public will be invited to "visit us and see the lodge, its meeting facilities, restaurant, and enjoy a dip in the pool," according to spokesman Larry Ginsberg.<br />
<br />
Ginsberg said there will be "music, fun and games for the kids and a cookout. The dress if casual."<br />
<br />
The lodge is located at 1547 Riverside Drive.
