GAINESVILLE - Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) plans to renovate an existing 23,000 square foot building in Dawsonville and turn it into a multi-purpose medical office building.
The complex will be housed in the former Moto 400 building on Prominence Court near the Georgia 400/Georgia 53 intersection.
NGHS expects the building to open no later than first quarter 2013.
The Northeast Georgia Physicians Group (NGPG) Dawsonville practice, currently located at 45 Medical Center Drive in Dawsonville and an affiliate of NGHS, will relocate to this building, giving the practice an opportunity to expand and also develop its "cutting-edge medical home model." The medical home model, known as Patient-Centered Care Management or PCCM, is a model of healthcare delivery that aims to improve the overall "quality and efficiency" of care provided by primary care physicians.
The PCCM model focuses on better access to care, improved clinical outcomes
