S. Hall forum to focus on congressional race

FLOWERY BRANCH - The South Hall Republican Club is planning another political forum, this one focusing on the 9th District congressional race.

On April 17, the club hosted a meeting open to all the candidates for the Hall County offices up for grabs this year which also included the congressional candidates.

The next forum will be held May 15 at 6:30 at the Spout Springs Library.

There are five Republicans who have announced plans to run in the July 31 GOP Primary for the newly-created post:

Hunter Bicknell
Doug Collins
Roger Fitzpatrick
Clifton McDuffie
Martha Zoller

Questions from the audience will be permitted and there will be some "meet the candidates" time set aside before the forum begins.
