By staff
JEFFERSON -- NASCAR returns to Gresham Motorsports Park in Jefferson on June 9 for the Slack Auto Parts 150 K&N Pro Series East.

Brett Moffitt recently took a memorable finish over Chase Elliott in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East Blue Ox 100 with a margin of only .011 seconds.

Slack Auto Parts has partnered with Gresham Motorsports Park again in 2012 for the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East.

"We are thrilled to be the sponsor of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East Race at Gresham Motorsports Park again this year," said Slack Auto Parts owner Henry Slack. "(GMP General Manager) Dan (Elliott) and his team at the track do a wonderful job of making sure this event is top-notch. Last year, the race was incredibly competitive and we expect this year to be even more exciting with a field of very talented up-and-coming drivers that are simply awesome! Racing is very important to our company because drivers, their teams and especially the fans are our customers and have played a major role in our being in business for over 83 years. The Slack Auto Parts 150 is a 'don't miss' event if you are a race fan."

Adult general admission is $30 (senior and military discounts are available) and dhildren aged 12-and-under are free.

A NASCAR K&N autograph session will take place at 5 p.m. Jacob Bryant, a native of Jasper, will be opening the night's race events by singing the National Anthem during the opening ceremonies at 6 p.m.
