GPD to investigate deadly crash site on Ga. Hwy. 365

GAINESVILLE - Beginning Tuesday morning, May 1, the Gainesville Police Department will be conducting a crash investigation on Georgia Highway 365 at Howard Road.

Gainesville Police Cpl. Kevin Holbrook said the reconstruction of last week's fatal crash at the crossroads will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude around 2:30 p.m.

He said drivers should expect lane closures in the area both north and southbound as the investigation proceeds.

Holbrook said this investigation is not tied to the probable installment of a traffic signal at the site, but is simply part of the investigation that takes place with any serious crash.
