Softball coach arrested for sexting crime

MILTON - A community softball coach is in jail in north Fulton County, charged with sexting a 15-year-old girl.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution and Channel 2 News report that 35-year-old Robert Keith Payne is accused of sending a number of sexually suggestive text messages to a former player.

Milton police said Payne is charged with enticing a child for indecent purposes. They said the messages sent to the girl "were very suggestive in sexual nature."

Payne was taken into custody Thursday morning at his Cumming home.

The parents of the girls reported the messages to police.

Milton police said Payne coaches the Georgia Stealth softball program.
