The Flowery Branch girls tennis team tuned up for the Region 8-AAAA tournament with a 4-1 win over North Hall Monday.
The Lady Falcons(17-1) swept the singles matches to get the win. Anna Kate Shaw won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles while Elizabeth Mallory took a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles. Hannah Michelena won 6-4, 6-3 at No. 3 singles.
the No. 1 doubles team of Durden Smith and Bekki Benton won 6-0, 6-0. The North Hall No. 2 doubles team beat Dani Taylor and Madison Smith 7-6, 7-5 for the Lady Trojans' only win.
