Piedmont seniors to present art shows

DEMOREST - Three senior art students at Piedmont College are creating individual exhibitions to show in art galleries around campus. As part of their art capstone course, seniors are required to create an entire gallery of art that they show independently from the other art seniors.

Joseph Martin of Canon will present his art show entitled "I Come in the Volume of the Book" in the Swanson Center for Performing Arts and Communications Art Gallery. His show reception is at 6 p.m., April 19, and the show will run from April 16 to April 19.

Tina Thammavongsa of Demorest will present her art show entitled "Transforming Identity" in the Mason-Scharfenstein Museum of Art. The show reception is at 6 p.m., April 26, and her show will run from April 23 to April 27.

Joshua Green of Milledgeville will present his art show entitled "The Human Condition" in the Mason-Scharfenstein Museum of Art. The show reception is at 6 p.m., May 3, and his show will run from April 30 to May 4.
