UNDATED - As the official date for qualifying approaches, more candidates are announcing their intentions to run for office all across the North Georgia region. The latest is Kip Burt, who says he will run for Clerk of Superior Court of Gwinnett County.
Burt has worked in both manufacturing and the public school system in both Hall and Gwinnett counties, according to campaign information.
The 44-year-old Burt is a graduate of Johnson High School and has done post graduate work at the the University of Georgia and Liberty University.
Burt is a Republican.
