The Chestatee boys and girls tennis teams finished their regular seasons in impressive fashion wins over Dawson County Thursday.
The Chestatee girls won 4-1 sweeping the singles play. Fernanda Arcarazat No. 1, No. 2 Lily Kiang, and No. 3 Lauren McNitt all won in straight sets. Katie Arthur and Grace Brown came from a set down in the No. 1 doubles match to win 3-6, 6-3, 6-3.
In the boys match, Chestatee took a 5-0 sweep ,lwithout dropping a set.
Jonathan Cook continued to roll at No. 1 singles with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Luke Branson. Jeremiah Reed topped Spencer Roper 6-2, 6-0 at No. 2 singles. and Juan Carrion toped Riley Westbrook 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3 singles.
Casey Campbell and Teddy Werner won at No. 1 doubles 6-4, 7-5 over Lane Venters and Jeremiah Fredland, and at No. 2 doubles Blaine Brown and Dillan Stapler topped Grant Shope and Tyler Griggs 6-4, 6-3.
