GAINESVILLE - An Atlanta man faces drug charges after an undercover investigation that led to the confiscation of a pound of marijuana, according to Hall County authorities.
Hassan Saleem, 38, is charged with Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute, Possession of Marijuana (Felony) and Use of a Communications Device to Facilitate a Drug Transaction, according to Lt. Scott Ware of the Gainesville-Hall County Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad.
Lt. Ware said Saleem was arrested Friday by MANS agents and officers from the Gainesville Police Department uniformed patrol division.
"Agents arrested Hassan Saleem during the course of an undercover drug investigation after he delivered approximately one pound of marijuana to a predetermined location to sell to an undercover agent," Ware said.
He added that Saleem was arrested without incident.
