GAINESVILLE -- The Lakeview Academy boys tennis team whipped George Walton Academy 5-0 Friday in Region 8-A action.
Lee Allen Martin and Seth Black took easy wins at Nos. 1 and 2 singles while Connor Thomas won at No. 3 singles in a walk-over.
Grant Hocker and Will Kellemeyer won a tough three-set matc at No. 1 doubles while the No. 2 doubles team won the final five games to pull out a straight set win.
The Lakeview Academy girls tennis team lost 5-0 to George Walton Friday in Region 8-A action.
