RABBITTOWN -- The East Hall boys soccer team clinched first place in 8A-AA after routing Union County 10-0 Thursday night.
The Vikings improved to 8-1-1 overall and 4-0 in the subregion.
Saul Lopez accounted for five points with two goals and three assists to lead the offense. Julio Avila had two goals and two assists and Jason Mendoza had two goals and one assist for the Vikings.
Edgar Cerrano had two goals, Adolfo Adame scored one goal, Enrique Valencia had a goal and an assist and Alonzo Cuevas had one assist for East Hall.
