FLOWERY BRANCH -- The West Hall boys tennis team dropped a close 3-2 match to Oconee County Monday in Region 8-B-AAA action.
Tatum Scroggs won for West Hall at No. 3 singles beating Conner Smith 6-4, 7-5. The Spartans' No. 1 doubles team of Brenden Worth and Min Kim took a 6-3, 6-4 win their other win.
Max Wilson and Connor McFall each dropped straight set matches at Nos. 1 and 2 singles and the No. 2 doubles team of Austin Dyer and Connor Kirkland also lost in straight sets.
West Hall (11-4, 7-2 in subregion) play host to Lanier on Tuesday.
