Soccer: RMA, Chestatee finish in a tie

GAINESVILLE -- Riverside Military Academy and Chestatee played to a 1-1 tie Friday night.

Chestatee scored its only goal in the first half on a corner kick. Riverside scored on the second half by a 25 yard shot from Gabriel Rodriguez assisted by Seung Hyun Kang.

Both teams had chances to add to their total but could not find the net. Riverside had seven shots on goal and Victor Salcido recorded four saves for the Eagles.

Riverside (7-1-1) will play Towns County on Tuesday in a Region 8-A match.
