JEFFERSON -- Two days after being shut out by Hart County, Jefferson exacted a measure of revenge with a 4-2 win over the Bulldogs Friday at home.
Micah Carpenter led the Dragons on the mound surrendering three hits in six innings of work while fanning five.
Tyler Cole and Andy Nicholas each had two hits for Jefferson. Nicholas had one RBI and Austin Thompson had one hit for the Dragons (5-4, 1-1 in Region 8B-AA) who have three of their last four games.
