BUFORD - Even though Buford voters approved Sunday alcohol sales on Super Tuesday, stores in the area won't be able to start selling it on Sundays until next week.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that that's because election results haven't been certified yet.
Buford Planning Director Kim Wolf said that should happen Monday, so stores can start selling on March 18.
The state legislature lifted a ban on Sunday alcohol sales last year.
