ATHENS -- According to published reports, former University of Georgia tight end Orson Charles was arrested in Athens early Friday and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Charles, 21, was arrested by Athens-Clarke County police and released on $1,750 bond.
Charles, a junior, opted to turn pro a year early after catching 45 passes for 574 yards and five touchdowns last season.
