GAINESVILLE - Another man has thrown his hat into the ring for Hall County Sheriff. John Sisk is a 20 year veteran of the Gainesville Police Department, according to his campaign.
In announcing his candidacy for sheriff, Sisk also announced his retirement from the city.
"As sheriff, I will assure to improve safety and fairness of all citizens, employee, and inmates in my care," Sisk said in an e-mail to Accessnorthga.com
The announcement brings the total to eight people who have declared intentions to run for sheriff in Hall County.
