The North Hall boys tennis team earned its first victory of the season with a 4-1 win over Franklin County Thursday in Regfion 8A-AAA action.
The Trojans (1-5, 1-2 in subregion) swept the singles led by Nathan Jones' tough 7-6, 6-4 win over Gaines Bullock at No. 1 singles. Matt Booth and Lucas Martin dropped just two toal games in taking wins at Nos. 2 and 3 singles.
North Hall's final win came at No. 2 doubles when Thomas Fisher and Grant Jackson beat Brandon Hudson and Adam Brown 6-2, 7-5. The Lions only win came at no. 1 doubles when Brandon Myers and Jack McCree beat North Hall's Reed Partrick and Naim Abdulaziz.
