FLOWERY BRANCH -- The Flowery Branch girls tennis team dropped just one set in taking a 5-0 win over Buford Wednesday.
The Lady Falcons (3-1) were led by No. singles Anna Kate Shaw, who rallied for 4-6, 6-2, 6-2 victory against Kelly Cohron. Elizabeth Mallory beat Annalea Stevens 6-3, 6-2 at No. 2 singles and Nicole Morris whipped Kristen Bradshaw 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.
At No. 1 doubles, Durden Smith and Bekki Benton beat Savannah Whaley and Readen Leifson 6-1, 6-4. Dani Taylor and Madison Smith knocked off Jaessica Thompson and Rebecca Hendrix 6-4, 6-3 at No. 2 doubles.
