Second student dies after Ohio school shooting

CHARDON, Ohio (AP) Authorities say a student wounded in an Ohio school shooting has been declared brain dead, the second reported fatality.

Hugh Shannon, administrator at the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office, says officials received the word early Tuesday about Russell King Jr.

Shannon says the office is continuing to investigate the manner and cause of death.

The 17-year-old King was one of five students injured when a teenager opened fire in the cafeteria at Chardon High School Monday morning.
