GAINESVILLE -- Julio Avila scored two goals and had one assist in leading the East Hall boys soccer team to a 7-0 whitwashing of Jackson County Tuesday.
Six different players scored and five others had assists for the Vikings (2-0).
Edgar Cerrano had one goal and two assists and Luis Salazar had a goal and an assist for East Hall. Saul Lopez, Ricardo Rosales, and Jason Mendoza each scored one goal and Enrique Valencia had one assist for the Vikings.
East Hall next will travel to Fannin County to open Region 8A-AAA play on Friday.
