ALPHARETTA -- Flowery Branch lost to John's Creek 4-1 Tuesday in girls tennis action.
The Lady Falcons' only win came at No. 2 singles with Dani Taylor and Madison Smith beating Kady Coleman and Lindsey Petterson 7-6 (7-5), 6-3.
Anna Kate Shaw lost 6-1, 6-0 to Linda Shin at No. 1 singles, Elizabeth Mallory lost 6-1, 7-6 (7-5) to Sofia Blanno at No.2 singles, and Nicole Morris lost 6-0, 6-2 to Annie Marcinkowski at No. 3 singles.
The No. 1 doubles team of Durden Smith and Bekki Benton lost 3-6, 6-1, 6-1 to Kimberly Straub and Rebecca Einsberg.
