LOGANVILLE -- The Flowery Branch girls advanced to the Class AAAA state tournament after rallying to beat Heritage, Conyers 44-43 Tuesday night in the Region 8-AAAA tournament.
Cara Chilton paced the Lady Falcons with 12 points. Marissa Ivey added 11 points. Jacy Ramey had eight points, 12 rebounds, and four steals for Flowery Branch, which ran its win streak to eight games with the win.
The Lady Falcons next will take on Salem in the 8-AAAA semifinals at 4 p.m. Thursday at Loganville High.
