Milton stepfather accused of killing teen

MILTON - Police have identified a teenager who was shot to death in the Atlanta suburb of Milton as a student at Alpharetta High School.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner early Tuesday identified the boy as 16-year-old Alexander Koser.

Authorities say 46-year-old Eric Brandon has been charged with shooting Koser, his stepson, after an argument.

Milton Police Capt. Shawn McCarty says Brandon was arrested and charged with his stepson's killing after a fight at their Milton townhouse.

McCarty said Koser was shot three times with a 12-gauge shotgun after the argument, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

It was not immediately known whether Brandon had a defense attorney, and messages to the family on Sunday were not returned.
