3 from area chosen for All-American Bowl band

SAN ANTONIO, Tex. - Three high school band members from northeast Georgia have been chosen for the 2013 U.S. Army All-American Bowl band.

The All-American Bowl is an all-star high school football game that will be played Jan. 5 in San Antonio, Texas. Like the football team, the band is made up of high schoolers from across the country.

The 2013 band includes Taylor Patskanick, a color guard member from West Forsyth High School in Cumming; Abigail Woodward, a color guard member from Forsyth Central in Cumming; Braden Barrentine, a trombonist with the Lumpkin County High School band in Dahlonega.
