Boys basketball: Trojans push win streak to 7

MT. AIRY -- The North Hall boys continue to roll.

The Trojans won their seventh straight Friday night whipping Forsyth Central 66-51 in the WCON Christmas Classic at Habersham Central High School.

Ethan Smith paced North Hall (10-1) with 21 points. Adam Kelly and Griffin Olson had 15 points apiece and Avery Cagle added eight for the Trojans.

North Hall led from virtually start-to-finish opening the game with ba 19-14 first quarter. The Trojans used a 22-15 second quarter to extend their lead to 41-29 by halftime.

The Trojans outscored the Bulldogs 25-22 in the second half to pull away for the big win.

North Hall will take a week off before returning to play host to White County next Friday in a key Region 7-AAA contest.
