COLUMBUS -- The Dawson County boys basketball team continued its solid play to start the season.
The Tigers improved to 7-0 on the season after whipping Schley County 66-25 in the Columbus Shootout.
Dawson County opened the game with a 21-3 first quarter and then cruised to the win. The Tigers led 40-9 at halftime and 59-19 heading into the fourth quarter.
Tyler Dominy led Dawson County with 19 points. Lucas Pain had 10 points for the Tigers.
Dawson County next will take on Chattahoochee County in the tournament on Saturday.
