CLEVELAND -- White County used a 10-2 second quarter to grab the lead and then held on for a 37-27 win over Lumpkin County Friday night in girls basketball action.
The Lady Warriors (4-1) were led by Paige Thomas with 10 points. The Lady Indians (2-5) were paced by Morgan Wood with 11 points.
White County next will play host to West Hall on Tuesday.
Lumpkin County will play host to to Union County on Saturday at the Lumpkin County Middle School gym.
